PortCityMud is a grassroots educational and outreach project that is focused on developing new opportunities for the ceramics arts and clay artists in the San Joaquin Delta. Times being what they are... This might be a good time to remind ourselves that we need to rebuild our lines of communication with each other and our communities if we really want the Arts to become reestablished.
A new generation of Ceramic Artists in the Delta are meeting up with the previous generations, and once again, it's time to find common ground to meet to share new ideas and the knowledge that we all need to grow. We are hoping to use this site to develop new connections among our local Delta artists and the communities we live in.
Special Note: We are currently looking for ceramic artists local to the San Joaquin Delta area to feature. We are also looking for regional calls for artists, ceramics exhibitions, and writers to feature on PortCity Mud.
